Platform policy
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Grierson Teacher Coaching handles personal information for teachers, school leaders and commissioning organisations using the coaching platform.
Introduction
Grierson Teacher Coaching respects the privacy of educators and school communities. We aim to collect only the information needed to provide professional coaching, manage accounts, respond to enquiries and meet appropriate legal or contractual responsibilities.
Information We Collect
We may collect contact details, account information, role or school information, coaching goals, reflective notes, messages and service communications. If you ask to be notified when programme enrolment opens, we collect your first name, email address and the date and wording of your consent. Where a school or organisation commissions coaching, we may also process limited administrative information required to manage that relationship.
How We Use Information
Information is used to provide coaching services, support professional development, maintain platform access, communicate about the service, protect the integrity of the platform and improve the quality of the coaching experience. Launch-list details are used to tell you when programme enrolment opens and are not added to an unrelated marketing list.
Data Retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary for coaching, account administration, contractual obligations, safeguarding considerations, dispute resolution and legal compliance. Launch-list details are retained until the opening notification and a reasonable follow-up period have passed, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Information that is no longer required will be securely deleted or anonymised.
Contact Information
Privacy enquiries should be sent using the contact details provided during onboarding or in the relevant service agreement. Requests should include enough information for the team to identify the account or organisation involved.
